Traded an 1882 CC Morgan for a 1881 Australian gold Sovereign today
 

Straight trade, item for item. I think it was a good trade. It is nearly a 1/4 oz. of gold. It's numismatic grade is XF, but that was not my thing in this trade: I see it as a significant trade up - I got close to a quarter oz. of gold for an ounce of silver.
Nice...ya think? I know... rare desirable collectible historical coin traded for not so sought-after coin. That is not how I see it, though.

I still have an '81 CC Morgan....if I can find some one to trade me 1/2 oz. of gold for it, I would do it.

I don't like to lose my numies, but I can't gamble on the future of numismatics anymore. : (
